Well at least I'm only a week behind on this month's post! My sweet big boy is 3 months old already!
It's been a big month for this boy! He's getting lots of control over his hands, started gripping onto things, started giggling for the first time, and oh...he moved to India :)
I don't have exact measurements for him because he didn't have a doctor check up this month, but from my very unofficial measurement of his length, he's almost 25 inches long, I think. Which is why he's exclusively in 6 month clothes, and even a few of those (depending on the brand) are almost a little short. Long boy!
Mason's sleep habits are slowly getting back to normal after we destroyed them with jetlag. He typically takes 3 naps a day - 1 shorter one(45ish minutes) and 2 longer ones (2+ hours). He likes to go to bed around 8 at night. Nighttime sleeping has been really up and down. Of course right after we flew around the world he wasn't sleeping great at night, but after jetlag was "over," he's still kinda been all over the place with sleeping habits. Some nights he wakes up every 3-4 hours, and some nights he'll sleep 5 hours at a time. I'm hoping those times will start stretching longer here soon! He still loves to be swaddled at night, and he takes all of his naps in the swing (so worth bringing that thing over from America!)
Mason has started to really enjoy playing on his jungle playmat this month, especially now that he can actually grasp onto things. It's still not a super coordinated effort, but at least it's an effort!
He's sooooo smiley, and loves pretty much everyone. And everyone in India loves him! I have no idea how many random Indians' Facebook pages Mason's picture is plastered all over :) He draws a crowd when we're out in public!
One of the best things about this month...Mason started giggling! It was such a fun, happy day :)
Mason loooooooves his siblings...and all of our India family!
