Fourth of July....in India!

Happy late Independence Day America! Although we weren't physically in the US, we still celebrated 4th of July with our team and all the long term staff here! We had everything you need for a great 4th celebration: lots of good food (including salsa, homemade apple pie, brownies, and no bake cookies! Yum!!), fireworks, and tons of red, white, & blue decorations!  We played long term vs. summer team American Revolution trivia, and then they shot off fireworks.
Landon had to go to bed before the fireworks celebration, but it was probably better, because in India, no fireworks are "illegal". So the fireworks are like REAL, legit, rocket fireworks, not the wimpy kind we have back home! Our house is down the street from the long term housing and I could hear them clear as day here! We missed celebrating with our families, but still we had a wonderful celebration for Landon's first Fourth of July!
