LIfe as a Three Year Old

 So just what is this Three Year Old boy up to, you ask?

Let me tell you. He's up to everything!

Landon is a little fireball of energy wrapped up in a little boy body. He loves to run, jump, wrestle, tickle, climb, make messes, and injure himself in the process. He loves to dance, sing, watch movies, and cuddle.

Here's the best I can do at summarizing a 3 year old boy!

Favorites:

* Toys: cars, balls, and blocks, and the iPad (most favorite)

* Activities: coloring, playing with Play-Doh, playing with beans, playing with the water during bath time, watching movies

* Characters: Curious George, Cars, and "Jake and Pirates"

* Foods: Pizza, popcorn, spaghetti, apples w/ peanut butter, pancakes, cookies, carrots & dip, chips

Skills:

* Talking up a storm now, mostly of understandable words and sentences :)

* Can identify all the letters of the alphabet and can count to 20

* Has the "Little Blue Truck" book memorized

* Has 2 verses (mostly) memorized - Ephesians 6:1 and Genesis 1:1

* Has some serious dance moves

* Can sing Jesus Loves Me, and a lot of the words of High School Musical 3 songs

* Randomly quotes movie lines and says "Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat." #EMAW

* He's almost fully potty trained, and is in process of giving up the pacifier (his last one he's bitten half of it off, but still keeps it in bed and tries to suck on it sometimes)

Other funny things:

* He uses the word "Buddy" to scold himself (or Layla). If he spills something or does something wrong, he'll say, "Buddeeeeeeeey"

* Whenever I go in to get him after he wakes up in the morning or from a nap, he greets me with "Hi Punkin! It's a good nap?"

* He loves to tell you to stay put while he goes to do something he's not supposed to do. For example, he'll do the stop motion with his hand to me and say, "Stay here, I go get the iPad!" right after I've told him he can't have it.

* He has no sense of appropriate times to eat things...he'll ask for chicken nuggets for breakfast or for oatmeal at 4 p.m.

* He currently LOVES to wash his hands. He'll tell me he needs to go potty, sit for 2 seconds when he doesn't actually need to go, just because he wants to wash his hands.
