Look at that precious girl! It doesn't get much more beautiful than that.
I can't even believe that Layla is 18 months old already. How in the world has a year and a half flown by since we welcomed our sweet girl into the world?!! Somehow time has flown by even faster than Landon's first year and a half of life.
Which, for the record, I'd like to point out that when Landon was Layla's age, I had a two week old newborn. Um, wow. Chalk that up to the crazy board. I can't even imagine having a newborn right now.
But I'm so thankful we had Layla when we did, because I sure do love this pretty girl.
Not too much has changed in Layla's life since her 17 month post that hasn't already been mentioned (like her new ponytail/bow hairdo!!!)
So here are some things that I think are new information?
* Layla loves to be a lion. It's her favorite animal sound to make. She'll prowl around and growl a very fiercely adorable roar. It's unbelievably cute.
* Layla loves to get into trouble. If you can't find Layla, I can almost guarantee you she's somewhere doing something that she's not supposed to do (turning the washing machine on and off, sneaking into the kitchen to throw cleaning supplies in the trash can, turning to printer on, etc.) She's a sneaky girl.
* Although her perfect 18 month picture is going to contradict this, Layla is going through a "I don't want my picture taken on command" phase. Here's how most of my attempted pictures turn out these days.
*Layla has fallen in love with a couple of things. One is the iPad, which she affectionately calls "paPad? paPad?" It's really cute to hear her ask for it, actually.
The other thing, or rather person, that she's fallen in love with is one of the guys on our team, Chase. I Instagrammed this photo the other day:
I may or may not have cracked myself up to the point of tears with that picture (a couple of times) It might be the picture I'm most proud of ever Instagramming. It was really hilarious how adoringly she was looking over at Chase. She giggles like a school girl whenever Chase chases her (ha!) around the room. Actually, she loves all the guys on our team, but I couldn't resist hamming up that pic.
* Layla is still 110% girl. You can often find her in her beads, tutu, swimming suit, or dress shoes.
* She's actually starting to like movies now! Her favorites are High School Musical 3 and Despicable Me.
*She's getting much more brave to start sticking up to Landon, or straight up taking things from him. Here she is stealing his ice cream the other night when I was taking too long getting hers.
Yes, she climbed on the table to get to his bowl of ice cream. Her Grandpa is very proud :)
Love you my Layla Bug!

Heck yes! Ice cream is worth the risk of danger! :)
Also, the lion crawl growl thing? That's probably video worthy.
And WHY must they grow so fast?? :(
ps - I know I asked you but I forgot what you said (3 kids = memory loss). Is Layla still wearing the shoes you borrowed? If not, I think Lilah is probably ready for them.
Happy Tuesday!
