Landon & Alycen

Considering how much I love all my cousins, I know that one day Landon will be great friends with his cousin Alycen. She does know who he is and will say his name!

However, for now, let's just say Landon isn't Alycen's favorite person in the world :)

We went to visit them at their house a couple of weeks ago, and Alycen was kind enough to show Landon how to put his new puzzle together that Mandy gave him for Easter.

Mandy was holding Landon, and tried to get Alycen to come give him a kiss. The closest thing we got was Alycen standing about a foot away, leaning over & kissing the air in Landon's general direction.

Then we tried to take this picture:

The whole time Alycen was saying, "No, no, no." Landon seemed ok with it :)

Finally we got Alycen to take a picture with Mandy & me and Landon all together as long as she wasn't touching Landon:

So Landon just hung out with Aunt Mandy most of the time we were at their house!

Then this weekend we were all at my parents' house. Alycen had already been here for a couple of days before Landon & I arrived, and she did NOT appreciate having to share Grandpa's & Grandma's attention with "The Invader." She would get very jealous if she wanted to be held by them & Landon had already stolen their arms. She still won't touch him, BUT, we made a huge step forward! On two separate occasions Alycen found Landon's pacifier and seemed very concerned that he didn't have it. The first time she had Mandy bring her all the way upstairs where we were so that she could try to give Landon his pacifier. Then later that day she found it in the other room and brought it in and tried to put it in his mouth. She loves him, deep down!

But don't worry, she was very careful to make sure her hand did not actually touch him as she handed him the pacifier :)
