So Big

I just can't believe how big my boy is getting! I'm still in denial of the fact that he's going to be a year old in just a couple of weeks. Just seems impossible that time has gone so quickly!

Landon is a ton of fun though now that he's getting bigger. I told you that he was standing on his own every now and then; he's getting better and better at it (and more and more willing to do it). Still no attempts at steps yet, but at least he's more comfortable standing independently! He's also doing a great job walking behind his toy:

This video was actually from about a week ago, so he's even better at it now than in the video. He seems to finally like walking behind it!

One of my favorite things to do is to just watch Landon when he gets to playing by himself. It's just so cute to see him entertaining himself! I can't wait as he continues to grow and get more and more imagination to see the games he comes up with (though I have the feeling a lot of them might be destructive/dangerous/involve bringing living creatures from the outside into our house. Not looking forward to that) Here's his version of playing by himself for now:

On another note, school has started back up in full swing so all the students are back in town! We already had our first large group meeting last Thursday night and did a welcome back cookout for students on Sunday night that was lots of fun. Landon loves going over to the dorms or to Zeta to meet new girls. He's a popular boy! We sure love him :)
