Sometimes, people come back home from foreign, third world countries with parasites. Actually, this has happened to multiple of my friends, and from what they tell me, it's an extremely unpleasant "going away gift" from their host country (major emphasis on unpleasant).
Thankfully, India sent us home with a very pleasant going away gift:
Surprise! Landon's going to be a big brother! Baby #2 is due March 7, which means I'm 14 weeks along!
This was definitely a surprise, but we are so so excited. And I think Landon is going to make a superb big brother (although he has set the bar pretty high for our children). It's hard to believe my first trimester is almost over, but I'm not sad to see it go. I've been sicker this time than I was with Landon (girl??) but things seem to be on the upswing.
Is it sad that the day I found out I was pregnant (which wasn't until I was 9 weeks along, back at home, by the way) one of the thoughts that ran through my head was, "Oh no, what am I going to title my blog now? Life With Landon won't work anymore..." That is pretty sad.
After going to the hospital today to see my wonderful friends Bob & Alissa's brand new little girl Hannah Kate, it makes me really excited for our next baby to come along! Will be keeping you updated on Baby #2 as well as Landon!
