Friday Catch Up

Here's a quick catch up of our week! Kyle has been out of town for a couple of days at a staff training, but he gets home tonight (yay!!) Here's what Landon & I have been up to in the mean time.

 Landon's still doing lots of playing with his Little People Nativity Set. He recently decided that the angel on top of the manger should be replaced by the sheep. In fact he likes to put almost any of the characters other than the angel on top of the manger. Including Baby Jesus. 

Or sometimes the sheep joins the lion in the tree tops of his Little People Zoo. He has quite the imagination, and no problem mixing characters from his toy sets.

 We hung out with my friend Alissa and her little girl Hannah! For the first time Landon actually seemed intrigued by the baby and wanted to touch her. Hannah's helping prepare him for his little sister, he just doesn't know it yet!

 It's finally getting cold enough that Landon needs a hat when we go out at night, which I was excited about because this year he's big enough for his penguin hat he got at one of his baby showers! SOOOO cute.

 This week Landon has decided it's time for him to learn to feed himself, which has resulted in a lot of yogurt and applesauce all over his face. I know he needs to learn eventually, so I'm trying to be patient and encouraging him, but it's sure getting messy.

 Yesterday Landon & I had a "jammies day" - we stayed in our pjs all day long & never left the house. He was even nice and let me pose him for a few shots by the Christmas tree in one of his pairs of Christmas jammies!

 Such a cutie pie. Getting him to sit still for pictures is becoming increasingly impossible.

And as of Wednesday we're at 27 weeks with our little girl! And I feel like I'm getting HUGE, especially considering I still have 13 weeks to go. Oh my. I had to do my glucose test at the doctor this week, and unfortunately since having Landon they changed their policy and now everyone has to do the fasting overnight 2 hour glucose test. Let me just say, asking a pregnant woman to go over 12 hours without food is considered cruel & unusual punishment in my book. But it's worth it to know that I do NOT have gestational diabetes {yay!} so this little miss is doing just fine! I think we have a future acrobat on our hands.
