Landon's Life

I realized that since I'm not doing the every month updates for Landon anymore, I haven't really shared the new things he's doing in awhile.

Landon is such a bundle of raging energy. He is seriously all.over.the.place. Sometimes he literally looks like a pinball bouncing from couch to couch, running, stomping, dancing, trying to jump (not quite there yet). And of course jabbering away the whole time.

Landon goes to bed between 8-9 at night and sleeps till 8-9 in the morning. When I go in to get him out of bed (still in a crib) he immediately says "Hiiiiiii! Out?" Then shortly after that he requests some milk.
He takes one nap in the afternoon and goes down on average around 1:00. He usually sleeps at least 3 hours, sometimes even 4+!

Landon continues to talk more and more. And more and more is actually understandable! He loves to go over and pick up a book and flip through pointing to things and saying all the words he knows. He's also starting to string together a few simple sentences, like, "See you morning!" when he goes to bed at night; "I see it?" after we take a picture; "See ya guys!" when someone is leaving. He's also smart enough to whine "Mommyyyyyyyyy" when he is upset :)

He loves to catch and throw balls and has an incredible arm (future KSU quarterback???) He likes putting together simple cardboard puzzles but hasn't figured out how to do real puzzles where the pieces fit together. He also looooooooves to play on the iPad (he calls it "Pad-E!")
Let me tell you, he has that thing figured out too. He knows which apps he likes, he knows how to do the five finger close, to swipe from open app to open app. He's hilarious with it.
Coloring is Landon's biggest new hobby. It took him awhile to really figure out the point of coloring, but now he just loves it and frequently asks, "Colors? Colors?"
He actually prefers coloring with crayons vs. the Color Wonder markers. I think it's because he's not patient enough to wait that 5 seconds it takes for the color to show up on the paper.

Landon goes back and forth on whether he likes Layla or not. He gets really mad if she invades his space or tries to take his toys, but sometimes he just randomly goes over to hug or kiss her or calls out "Yay-ya, Yay-ya!"

A hug, not a chokehold
Landon is also getting waaaaay to daring for his own good, and threatening to turn my hair gray too early.

And here are some fun pics of Landon, although he's much harder to photograph than Layla is!

The best day of Landon's life...I gave him a whole donut while we watched a movie in bed one morning Kyle was out of town!

That face!
