Snowed In!

We've spent lots of time at home this week because of all the snow! It's been way too cold & slick to take Landon outside!! But I've really enjoyed getting some extra time with that sweet boy. He's also made a few new discoveries during his home time.

He has sat in the swing countless times, usually falling asleep in it. We just finally took our Christmas tree down last weekend so he no longer had the Christmas lights to stare at, so finally for the first time he discovered that there is a mirror hanging above his head! And you know how this boy loves to stare and smile at himself, hence the adorable video!

He has also made the amazing BUMBO discovery!

 We have put him in the Bumbo chair a couple of times before, but he wasn't a big fan. However this week he's sat with Mom in the kitchen while she's cooking several times; he finally decided he likes sitting up like a big boy!

He's also decided he likes his monkey stuffed animal...for short periods of time

Of course he still spends lots of time jumping in his jumperoo (he can finally touch the floor now - no book needed underneath!) But the jungle & the jumperoo were starting to get old, so Mom had to find some new entertainment...

Then she remembered the swing had a play thing to go on it! Great discovery!

We've had lots of fun smiles...

And of course, what are snow days really for?? SLEEPING!!
