Just thought I'd post up the pictures from our Valentine's Banquet - Landon's first of many! And let me tell you, he was such a stud in his little black button up & red undershirt. All the ladies were loving him! (but that's nothing new)

The banquet was a blast! Landon behaved for the whole dessert & talk. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay for the dance because it was time for him to eat and go to bed, but I have a feeling that next year he'll be tearing up the center of the dance floor!
The next morning it was on to the wives retreat! Megan requested to hear a little bit about it, so here goes! Every year all the staff wives (there are about 20 currently) just take a weekend to get away, talk with each other, and go through some workshops/content on being godly wives, mothers, etc. It's especially great because we all have the same lifestyle with being in full time college ministry, so we're able to understand each other and share suggestions for how to balance marriage, ministry, and mommyhood for the mothers. Everyone had some great suggestions about how to stay well connected with the ministry on campus & how to continually get to know students even as your capacity changes with kids and stuff. These women are some of my best friends so it was a great weekend!!
