Landon's Birthday Party

Landon turns two on Wednesday {shock & disbelief} so we had his birthday party this past Saturday! It was a fun time to celebrate with our families. 

We had lunch for everyone, and after we got done eating we had present time for Landon. Unfortunately, I kind of ruined the fun, because I tried to get Landon to wear this Birthday Boy ribbon pin that I bought for him, and in the process of pinning it on him he got very angry and upset.

 So going into opening presents, he was kind of in a bad mood and pretty much cried the whole time that we were trying to get him to sit still.

 Kinda takes the fun out of watching him open your gifts when he's whining about it. He especially cried every time the present he pulled out was clothes (which was a lot because he needed them!). Kyle says this is a boy thing =)

For our present to Landon we got him this little table and chairs set.

We have it sitting back in his room, and it has come in very handy for all the new Color Wonder markers and coloring books he got for his birthday! The first thing he said when he got up this morning was, "Color?"

He really likes sitting at the table. I think he feels like a big boy getting to sit on his own little chair.

After present time it was cake time, and he had shaped up his attitude by this point.

 We did not give him his own personal cake this time, but we did let him eat his own piece of cake by himself again. We didn't even offer him a fork because I knew he wouldn't use it :)

Thanks again to everyone who came to town to celebrate our little boy! We are so blessed!

And even though he was crying...he really does like his presents =)
