So my computer won't start. Boo. Sooooo I'm writing this from my phone which for some reason means all the pictures will be clustered at the end instead of interspersed throughout. (Anyone know why that is, btw?)
But this past Thursday Layla tried her first baby food! She started off with sweet potatoes just like Landon did and it went very similar to his first time.
Her first couple of bites she ate fine like it took her a minute to figure out it wasn't cereal. Then she started to gag a little bit. But nothing too bad; she didn't make herself throw up like Landon did. All in all she did pretty well and by the second time she tried it later that day she gobbled it all up!! She's getting better at eating.
Today she tried butternut squash and she also liked that! I had never actually tried it until I made it into baby food for Landon. It actually has a really nice nutty flavor! If anyone has good recipes let me know...
And despite her doctor saying the solid food wouldn't help her sleep longer..ever since Thursday night she's been sleeping till bw 3:30-4 before waking up to eat. Hallelujah!
