Landon has had a few new things happening in his little life recently.
You've already read about how he has been sick with a fever for the first time. After having a fever last Thursday night he hadn't really run one since then, just still been a little bit congested & extra tired, but then this afternoon he woke up from his first nap running a 101.2 temp again. So he still seems to be fighting some sort of bug.
However, his fever, crankiness, and extra sleepiness could also be due to another new development. On Friday I noticed that Landon had his first molar break through! He opened his mouth wide to laugh or cry or something and I saw this big white thing on his lower gums! So I started to wonder if that was the source of some of his grief. Then this morning I was changing his diaper and looked in his mouth only to realize that he also has a molar breaking through on both sides of his upper gums! Poor boy has had 3 molars coming in all at the same time - I'm sure that's painful! Not to mention he has another one of his bottom front teeth getting ready to surface. No wonder my Punkin' has been all out of sorts.
| Well on his way to a mouth FULL of teeth! |
Kyle is also sick, so after dinner Daddy & Son needed some Tangled watching therapy to commiserate with each other before Kyle left to go to the dorms.
Despite not feeling well, Landon was still able to get plenty excited once he realized it was movie time:
In other breaking news, Landon finally has a new word - his first animal sound!!
He's still stubbornly refusing to imitate any other animals so far, but hey, we have to start somewhere!
Hopefully tomorrow the little Punkin' will be feeling a little better. Although considering he's sick and also battling teeth, he's much more chipper and still adorable than me when I'm sick. I'm a bigger baby when I'm sick than he is!

Awww... look at his little mouth full of teeth! Poor guy, what a trooper! I would have been throwing a fit if my gums were hurting that bad.
oh, poor kiddo! I am sure having all those teeth coming in is not fun at all. But he's still such a sweetie! We're at 14 months, and still waiting patiently for our FIRST tooth to come in! Craziness.
Aww poor babe! How painful! Hope he feels better soon!!! And there is nothing a little Disney/or Pixar movie cannot fix! Or...at least help!
