Well since Little Miss has yet to make her appearance, Kyle is gone for the afternoon, and Landon is taking a nap, I thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity to make one more flashback post for Landon to try and get caught up on the beginnings of his life! This time I'll mush the last 3 weeks of his first month together!
We continued loving "Life With Landon" those first few weeks. Lots more students came to meet him, I had lots of fun taking pictures of everything he did. Of course as a newborn, he mostly slept a LOT.
His favorite place to sleep was snuggled up with us :) And we sure enjoyed it too. He slept pretty well in his bed at night once we started swaddling him and woke up pretty consistently every 2-3 hours during the night to eat.
At a pretty young age his favorite napping spot was in his little lamb chair. I have so many pictures of him sleeping peacefully in the sheep chair! (We had borrowed it from my sister but since she's due in June we won't be using the little lamb chair for Little Miss - we borrowed a different bouncy seat from a friend). I just loved having him out in the room with me where I could see him instead of napping in his bed, and he just slept soooooo well in the little chair. I often had to wake him up to feed him to keep him on his 3 to 3 1/2 hour feeding schedule during the day. He's always been such a sweet little sleeper.
And here's one of my all time favorite videos of Landon. He was also a pretty noisy sleeper when he was really little, and for some reason when he would sleep in the crook of our arm it made him even louder.
I was dying laughing so much taking this video that Kyle had to take the camera away from me so he could hold it steady. We had been trying to catch him doing this on camera for so long and he finally cooperated - this was when he was about 2 weeks old.
And here's one of my all time favorite pictures of Landon:

During his second week of life we also took Landon on his first walk
He fell asleep pretty quickly into the walk, but maybe that's what started him on loving walks/being outside so much!
He also went to his first large group StuMo meeting when he was a week & a half old:
We just swaddled him up and he slept pretty much the whole time in Daddy's arms, despite the loud music! He still loves getting to go to StuMo to see the students and dance to the music :)
A couple of days before his 2 week birthday Landon got to meet his other cousins - Kyle's sister and her husband brought their two girls down to meet him! It was so precious - Addyson and Lydia still looooove Landon so much; it just makes me smile!

Landon also very early on got used to having students over to our house all the time. Here he is with a bunch of the DU fraternity guys when they came over for dinner.

And actually just a couple of weeks ago we had some DU's over for dinner again (some of the same guys, some new). Landon still fits right in!
I had so much fun just being at home with Landon, or venturing out with him around town or to campus. From the very beginning he was such an easy, laid back baby - he ate really well, he slept really well and would sleep in his carseat wherever I took him, and was just all around pretty happy and didn't cry much. He spoiled us rotten for sure (and we may have spoiled him back a little bit).
One his one month birthday I redressed him in his coming home outfit to show how much he had grown into it over just a few weeks! (told you he was a good eater!)
At his one month check up he weighed 11 lbs. (73rd percentile) and was 22 inches long (65th percentile). He was a healthy, growing boy! That first month flew by so quickly; I remember crying a lot on the day of his birthday (no surprise there) because I just couldn't believe how quickly it was going. Now 16 months later I can still hardly believe it!

I can't believe how little he once was! And just think, your going to have a new little baby to cuddle and love on shortly. =)
Not going to lie, this post made me have EXTREME baby fever. What a little cutie he was!
I miss this stage with my little girl. It's always fun {and sad} to look back and see how much they've grown.
